Jake is an award-nominated Australian Set and Costume Designer located between Perth, Western Australia and London.

As a designer focused on visceral and dynamic story telling, Jake was nominated for Most Outstanding Costume Design at the 2024 Performing Arts Awards WA for his work on Alex and Evie and The Forever Falling Rain, Directed by Shae Watkins and produced by Every Other Theatre Co. and Awesome Arts. In 2019, Jake was appointed Tony Award-winning Designer Christopher Oram’s associate designer; Frozen: The Musical (London), Geisha: The Ballet (Europe and UK), and The Artist (Barcelona). In 2024

As a graduate of the Masters of Fine Arts Design course at the National Institute of Dramatic Art and Bachelor of Performing Arts at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, Jake has quickly impacted the Australian live entertainment sector, bringing visceral and dynamic performance designs through state and national productions.

Aside from his live entertainment work, Jake has had a range of experience curating and designing local exhibitions and festivals. Jake's most recent Exhibition; The Sketchbook Project was a co-creative community engagement project which showcased at the State Library of WA. Jake prides himself as being a creative leader for young designers and artists and helps to shape the future of the Australian Design industry.
